Outdoor Movie Night
Families watching the movie on the outdoor screen

Students could feel the start of Autumn in the air on the crisp Friday evening of the Terryville PTA’s movie night. The soccer fields were covered from fence to fence, gathered on the grass, children and parents alike set up blankets and chairs as they prepared for "Luca (2021)" to begin. The PTA had the right idea, as they sold snacks to the eager movie patrons. For some students, an enjoyable evening didn’t entail kicking back and enjoying the movie, but rather participating in an intense soccer, or football match. Others spent their time enjoying pizza and snacks with classmates, or reconnecting with family and friends. When the sun went down, so did the temperature. The PTA made sure to come prepared with blankets and sweatshirts for sale, where the proceeds go towards future PTA events! Based on the excited chatter heard after the conclusion of the movie, I’d bet that students cannot be more excited for another PTA movie night!
